Return & Refunds Policy 

🔄 1. Overview

At SGI, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help. This policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for motorcycle accessories and related products.

📦 2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

·       Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.

·       All parts, manuals, and accessories must be included.

·       Proof of purchase is required.

·       Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.

Items NOT eligible for return

·       Items showing installation marks or use

·       Items damaged due to incorrect installation or misuse

  • Items without its original packaging tags and accessories intact

🔁 3. Return Process

To initiate a return:

1.     You may log a return online following the prompts with your order number and reason for return. https://www.sgi-moto.co.za/a/returns

2.     We will review your request and provide return instructions when its been approved.

3.     Ship the item back to us at the address provided.

4.     Once we inspect the item, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

🚚 Return Shipping

·       The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

·       Tracked shipping is recommended as SGI will not be responsible for lost parcels.

🔄🔧 4. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

·       Incorrect size or variant

·       Wrong item shipped

·       Fitment issues (item must still be brand-new)

If the replacement has a different price, the difference will be charged or refunded.

For faster service, you may place a new order and request a refund for the original one.

💰 5. Refunds

If the return is approved:

·       Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

·       Processing time: 7-10 business days depending on your bank.

·       Shipping fees are non-refundable.

🛠️ 6. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty:

1.     Do not accept the parcel from the courier and contact us ASAP

2.     Provide photos of the item and packaging.

3.     We liaise with you  with a replacement product or a refund at no cost to you depending on the situation at hand.

🛡️ 7. Warranty Claims

SGI products come with a 1 year manufacturer-backed warranty to ensure quality and reliability. Warranty periods and terms may vary depending on the brand or product type.

Warranty does not cover:

·       Incorrect installation

·       Wear and tear

·       Accident damage

·       Product modifications

If a product fails due to a manufacturer defect, we will assist you with a repair, replacement, or warranty evaluation issued in a store credit. SGI reserves the right to assess each warranty claim and determine the most appropriate resolution.

To start a claim, please email info@sgi-moto.co.za with:

·       Your order number

·       A detailed description of the issue

·       Clear photos or videos of the defect

·       Photos of the installation area (if applicable)

❌📦 8. Order Cancellations

Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled prior to fulfilment.

Our system begins processing orders immediately, and once this process starts, it cannot be paused or reversed. This includes automated steps that move the order through fulfillment, packaging, and courier preparation. Because of this, we are unable to stop or cancel an order once it has been submitted.

If you no longer want the item after receiving it, you may still return it under our standard Return & Refund Policy, provided it meets the return eligibility requirements.
